What are your goals for the future?
I want to continuously grow my relationship with God. I aspire to get an advanced degree in nursing or teaching. I also really, really want to get married and to be a mom more than anything in the world.
What are your soccer plans for the future?
I don't have any future soccer plans after high school. My main my focus will be to fully concentrate on my academics as I pursue my career goals.
What are some of highlights of your soccer career at CHS?
Some of my highlights during my CHS soccer career was starting on varsity during my junior year and being a major contributor to the team during that time. I've also been able to enjoy being a Dragon on this soccer team with great players. I received the Coaches Award in 2016 and 2017.
What was your most memorable game?
My most memorable game was during my sophomore year against Houston, because it was my first real game on varsity and I feel like that was my best game I've played in high school soccer. I also consider this game as my debut into being a true varsity player.
What advice would you offer to freshman players?
I would advise the freshmen to savor every moment they have on this team and with the people on it, because it's an amazing, irreplaceable, and memorable experience. I'd also tell them that no matter what happens during the season (good or bad) to just keep pushing until the end.
What will you miss the most about playing for the CHS Lady Dragons?
I'll miss being able to see and spend time with my amazing friends everyday and all of our funny and exciting moments together. This team has truly been a family to me that I don't want to let go of.
What has the support of your family meant to you?
It has meant the world to me because through the high and very, very low parts of the soccer season they've always been there to help me through everything. They always know the right things to say and they can always see the brighter side to any situation I was in. They have truly instilled in me that when things are hard, we don't quit but continue to work hard and believe that "All things work together for good".
What are the funniest moments you recall about playing for the Lady Dragons?
When I was sharing a bed with Allison at state and she was sleep talking to me and it was one of the most terrifying things I've ever experienced.
